I love blackberries so the minute this was announced I had to try them. It was sooooo good, I could drink one everyday. But when the trenta size comes in at almost $7 a day would be expensive and if you do the lemonade blend almost $8 so I had to find a way to make it at home. There are two ways I found to make it.

Tablespoon sage
- Add water and sugar to a sauce pan. Dissolve sugar
- Add blackberries and bring to a boil
- Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes
- Cut sage and add to mixture and simmer for another 10 minutes (if you want more of a sage flavor let steep longer)
- Strain blackberry sage mixture using a spoon to mash blackberries to release all the juice
- Let cool and add to a jar and refrigerate
- Add to Syrup to shaker with water and ice
- Shake vigorously
- Pour over ice
- Adjust syrup to your taste
- Add fresh or freeze dried blackberries for garnish
There are a few variation I have tried. You can make it caffeinated by adding water with caffeine. It is great over green tea or black tea. You can even make it half and half with your choice of Lemonade
