Add a bit of pizzazz to this comfort food<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<p>1 lb bulk garlic sausage, browned and drained<\/p>\n<p>1 lb pasteurized processed cheese food, Mexican-flavored or plain, cut into cubes (Velveeta)<\/p>\n<p>1 16-oz jar mild or medium-hot chunky style salsa<\/p>\n<p>Salt and pepper to taste<\/p>\n<p>Directions:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Put the browned sausage, cheese and salsa in the slow cooker and stir to combine.<\/li>\n<li>Cover and cook on low for 2-1\/2 to 3-1\/2 hours, or until the cheese has melted and the mixture is hot, stirring occasionally.<\/li>\n<li>Season the dip with salt and pepper to taste and stir again.<\/li>\n<li>Keep dip warm in slow cooker<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Other twist on that boring cheese dip.
