{"id":15,"date":"2013-06-25T21:04:27","date_gmt":"2013-06-26T03:04:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/deanasimmons.wordpress.com\/?p=15"},"modified":"2013-06-25T21:04:27","modified_gmt":"2013-06-26T03:04:27","slug":"easy-chicken-pot-pie","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southernladycooking.com\/?p=15","title":{"rendered":"Easy Chicken Pot Pie"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>2 \u00a0 8 oz cans of chicken, drained (or two medium left over chicken breast)<\/p>\n<p>2 \u00a0 13-1\/4 oz. cans mixed vegetables, drained<\/p>\n<p>2 \u00a0 \u00a010-3\/4 oz. cans cream of chicken soup<\/p>\n<p>1 cup milk<\/p>\n<p>salt and pepper to taste<\/p>\n<p>8 oz pkg. shredded cheddar or Colby cheese, divided<\/p>\n<p>12 count refrigerated biscuits<\/p>\n<p>Directions:<\/p>\n<p>In a bowl, combine all ingredients except cheese and biscuits. Transfer to a greased 13&#8243; x 9&#8243; baking pan or individual ramekins; top with 3\/4 cheese. Separate biscuits and tear each into 4 to 5 pieces; place on top of cheese. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until biscuits are golden.
