Yes, you can make deserts in the slow cooker. I was just about amazed the first time I seen this. I thought it was for cooking tougher cuts of meat to make tender and making dinner while I was working or doing other things. But this is just one of the many deserts you can make with a slow cooker
Ingredients:
2 21-oz can cherry pie filling
1 box yellow cake mix
4 tablespoons butter, melted
Directions:
Put the pie filling in the slow cooker and spread it out evenly.
In a medium size bowl, stir the cake mix and melted butter until a crumbly mixture forms, then sprinkle the mixture over the pie filling.
Cover and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours or on High for 1-1/2 to 2 hours.
